                         Lulugayan Falls Lulugayan Falls, also known as Calbiga Falls, is a stunning natural attraction in Calbayog, Samar, Philippines. It's known for its impressive width, earning it the nickname "Mini Niagara" of the Philippines. The falls are part of a 14-kilometer stretch where numerous waterfalls cascade from Lake Kalidongan to the Calbiga River. Visitors can enjoy swimming, picnicking, and exploring the surrounding lush landscape.Ronald Ricafort, acting tourism officer of Calbayog City in Samar province, disclosed that the city government of Calbayog would be developing both the Malajog Beach and the Bangon Falls to attract for people to these places.

Bangon Falls

                           Bangon Falls Bangon Falls or locally known as Bugtong Falls has an estimated height of about 60 meters. It is actually a system of cascades, which you need to walk along the cascades themselves to get to the first tier of the Falls or the main Falls. The track leading to the falls can be really slippery, especially during raining season. Hence, you have to be very extra careful in your ascent. The first level of Bangon Falls has a circular catching basin of approximately 30 meters in diameter, which is really good for swimming and deep enough if you choose to dive. Bangon Falls can be reached through a five-minute ride from the Tinaplacan village entrance while tourist needs a 30-minute trek from Bangon to reach Tarangban Falls, which is the biggest among waterfalls in this city.

                       Tarangban Falls Tarangban falls is located in Tinaplacan, Calbayog City. It is approximately 4 kilometers away from the main road and a 30 minutes hike from the jump-off point. It is a sight to behold as the crystal clear water cascades through the different rock formations. You can spend all day watching it while enjoying the refreshing flow of the water.Tinaplacan is the only barangay that speaks bisaya or cebuano dialect in Calabayog City instead of Waray-Waray.Simply stunning simply majestic. Those are the words that best describes to one of the treasures of Calabayog City, the Tarangban Falls.
